Koppe Bridge is indeed very good.
Shipwreck has a very good burger as well.

eccel steakhouse has a wonderful great burger
6:03p, 03/05/10
Koppe Bridge = over rated burger. But the restaurant makes up for it by being very loud and overpriced.
6:18p, 03/05/10
StoverBoys burger and one of their shakes and some sweet potato fries.

Hullabaloo Diner makes a HUGE burger that is very tasty and they have many variations of fries you can order.

Wings N More actually has a good burger (get the buffalo burger, but have them hold the sauce) if you are with a group that wants wings.

Don't forget Banger Burgers @ Harvey Washbangers, they grill the jalapenos - hot 'n tasty.
6:47p, 03/05/10
Margie's in DT Bryan - get the Sexy Pimp or some Opersteny burgers.

Shipwreck Grill is my new #1. Good fries, too.

My son and I ate at Koppe. Very good burger. Beefy.

Not too loud. But I gotta admit the carved table thing ala Chicken Oil isn't very original.

But I would go back.

either completely overreacting, or you own a burger joint.

Lighten up dude. Its a good burger. No need to **** on something just because you dont like it.

Koppe is pretty good.

Fat Burger has been our choice lately. 2/3lb Bonfire with cheese for about 6 bucks.

Stover Boys

Koppe Bridge: Burger A+, Fries A+
Burger House: Burger A+. Fries B
Fuddruckers: Burger A-, Fries B-

Sorry, Stover Boys. The burgers are greasy, no lettuce, no whole grain buns. Great fries, though. Plus, good atmosphere and very pleasant counter help.

It's a rough day when a burger joint is being judged by not having lettuce and especially whole wheat buns.

In all seriousness...
Koppe Bridge for a reasonably priced bigger, juicy burger. Fries are above average but aren't a draw in and of themselves.

Stover Boys if you're looking for something a bit different and bit more on the modern flare side. Their prices have crept up a bit much for more liking, but they're hard to beat. $10-$11 for a combo with their sweet potato fries has slowed my going there waaay down though. The sweet potato fries are awesome, and the normal fries are also above average for this area anyway. If you're in the area and want something more unique, this is probably the choice I'd make.

Harvey Washbanger's is good and fairly reasonably priced, but I thought it was pretty overrated. Nothing really stood out to me at all, but it was good.

Some swear by Chicken Oil, but I swear they haven't tried anything else on this list.

Fuddrucker's... better burgers than Chicken Oil but other than that, kinda surprised it was even mentioned. Getting a good sized burger there gets pretty expensive pretty quickly as well.

Burger House on S College - by far the best

Wrong on both counts. OP asked for opinions specifically on Koppe Bridge. I gave mine. You disagree and that's fine. Don't **** on me for having an opinion and expressing it when asked.

If there are folks in your party who don't want a burger, the grilled chicken sandwiches at Koppe Bridge (either location) are wonderful. Not overpriced.
I like Koppe Bridge fries because they are skinny and are not crunchy. One of the only places in town that have fries like this. If you like thick fries, you won't like these (because they are not thick)

I hate the fries at Koppe bridge. However, my son loves them. So I get the grilled chicken sandwich and let my son eat the fries. The chicken sandwich is good.

All good places mentioned..I like the Fat Burger Grill on Wellborn Hwy just past Koppe Ridge..Good fries too..

If this is the place next to Pepe's Tacos then you really need to get out more, unless it is completely changed since I ate there. About on par with McDonalds

I tried the burger at J Cody's last weekend and was impressed. It was yum!!

I also like Fat Burger and the Diner.

Went to Stover Boys last night. Not bad.

What's up with no Swiss Cheese, CharlieMac?!?!?!?

you just lost all credibility with this comparison.

Speaking as someone who used to work there ( and enjoyed many a half price meal because of it LOL),my personal opinion is that you cannot go wrong with Fuddruckers. If the half pound is too expensive for ya, get the third pound. Here's a hint: go healthy by not buying fries but make a little side garden salad for yourself with the lettuce and tomato fixins from the fixins bar. Granted there is no salad dressing but that makes it even healthier right? And you saved money by not buying fries, which incidentally, are VERY good.

I have heard people say the ostrich burger is very good as well as very healthy. I have never eaten ostrich and I never intend too. But if anyone has eaten ostrich, is it good?

Consol, you live in tennessee and just named a chain.

Also, a chain that is not that great.

For this I give you the double facepalm

For Obama to think you have failed then boy you have screwed up.

hahaha I appreciate your feelings towards my post, but I was respondng to the people that mentioned Fudds. They know a great hamburger

If that is too much for you though, I would suggest the burger king whopper junior as a tasty and extremely inexpensive alternative. Do not get cheese though, that will make it too expensive for ya

Oh, and the whopper junior DOES come with lettuce FYI

I'll take my Bacon Double Cheeseburger, the Double Cheeseburger at Top of the Hill or the Sexy Pimp at Margie's for my favorites. I like Shipwreck Grill's burger and Cafe Excell's for a chargrilled style burger.
