Getting Ready for the SNOW
8:06a, 02/22/10
It's going to snow tomorrow. I've already stocked up on candles, propane, canned food, toilet items, water, ammunition, and dog food. Is there anything else I need to survive this incoming storm? Is it safe to assume that all offices and schools are going to be closed tomorrow? At what point should I completely panic?

Thanks in advance. Your input is greatly appreciated.

You can never panic too soon. Just make sure you have the appropriate matching item for the ones you listed. For example:

candles | matches
propane | grill
canned food | can opener
toilet items |toilet
water | bourbon
ammunition |lots of guns
dog food | dog

And remember to load your guns and drink your "water" as the first flake falls.

Nice.

Who cares if it is gone by Wednesday, that is no excuse not to go get bourbon. But, get 7-up instead of water, it is much better.

Thanks for the heads up nana...in other news ..the world is round.

The post above are in reference to the ridiculous amount of over dramatic people living in BCS.
12:25p, 02/22/10
sorry, but anyone that literally goes and buys "supplies" for this is an idiot
12:38p, 02/22/10
does anyone know if there is still bottled water available at the area stores? I don't want to feel left out again after not panicking during Hurricane Rita.
12:39p, 02/22/10
Oh, and what stores sell generators that have a very liberal return policy?
12:58p, 02/22/10
Forget generators, I've already got two dozen marine batteries!!

I already raised the limit on my credit card today and maxed it out buying supplies, do you think they'll up my limit again? Hopefully hey'll understand the emergency situation that we are in.
1:04p, 02/22/10
Since you raised the limit on your card, could you buy Nanaof4 and TexasAggie008 a sense of humor?
1:08p, 02/22/10
Turk, I'll have to get out the platinum card for that!
1:08p, 02/22/10
people that don't understand sarcasm on an internet forum
1:09p, 02/22/10
truk, cut them some slack. they must be under a lot of stress with the impending blizzard on its way.
1:09p, 02/22/10
I'm considering chopping down an oak tree in my yard for the extra firewood. You know, just in case...

Did you get the requisite permit from Lord Crompton, Defender and Protector of the Trees?
