If bryan and college station was shutting down for good and you had to pick one last meal where would you pick out of any in the area?I would probably pick shannons in bryan as my lat meal in the area.

on the border.
2:55p, 07/25/12
Frittella's or Grub's

Is this the GB?

Oh, and probably The Republic.

Lupe Tortilla...extra lime.

+1 for republic

Any place that had a health violation shut down and had a roach that would smile when I entered the building.
3:30p, 07/25/12
Taco Bell...best Mexican food this side of the Mississippi.
4:37p, 07/25/12
Sonic. For hot dogs.
4:42p, 07/25/12
Shipwreck. I'd only hope that it happened during crawfish season so I could eat my weight in mudbugs and drink enough sangria to fill up a shark tank.

I would park myself at Stover Brothers and proceed to eat Dixie Dogpiles...one after another after another, until I fell off my chair, exploded out every opening, and lay there twitching on the floor of the cafe. Under stressful circumstances like BCS shutting down, that's how I'd go out...with abject grace and dignity.

republic and drink a Lusty Lucy!
5:46p, 07/25/12
Stovers for sure. Just about all the food in this town can be found elsewhere but that kind of burger is rare.

Truer words were never spoken.

I'm ashamed I don't know, but what is this Dixie Dogpile of which you speak?
6:33p, 07/25/12
Uber burger that USED to be at Stover Brothers...but now I see it has been discontinued along with the infamous socioeconomically challeneged caucasian donut.
6:46p, 07/25/12
Christopher's
7:53p, 07/25/12
Some avocado or something...
7:55p, 07/25/12
No way CMac...you know you'd "live a little." Avocado...in a pig's eye!
8:00p, 07/25/12
suprised no one has said Veritas yet. A nice wagyu steak and some fried calimari would be very nice.
8:11p, 07/25/12
Oh was the question serious? Veritas, yes. Republic, yes. Maddens, yes. All in one night. T&P for fabulous gastric distress.
8:38p, 07/25/12
I'd go to Las Mexicanas and have 4 tortas el pastor!
9:19p, 07/25/12
Something ridiculously awesome at Veritas, or maybe just a great bowl from Pho Johns.
9:20p, 07/25/12
The DQ on Villa Maria. LG Georgia mudfudge blizzard. Beltbuster w cheese and some onion rings. Yeah.

9:38p, 07/25/12
Sushi at 40 Tempura.
9:40p, 07/25/12
Nah... they are closing College Station --- I am eating in the first place I ate when I first arrived, Dixie Chicken burger with Fries and a Pitcher of Shiner..... Symmetry.

Why would it have to be just 1 restaurant?

I'd hit Hot Dogs Etc. for some chili cheese fries, Jose's for some yummy cheese enchiladas, Atami for the fried crab bento box and Project Yogurt for dessert!

I would like then kill over from a heart attack, but at least I'd go out with a smile on my face!

*Edited because all the drooling caused a typo.

Since I couldn't find this outside of B/CS I would probably go with Koppe Bridge although it would be tough not to have C&J again!
