I found Barbara Smith to be a warm and very professional woman. I wanted to thank her publicly for setting me at ease and making my "first TV appearance" (smiling) to be an easy and comfortable one.

I really like her, too. However, some days I wish the bangs wouldn't hang straight down into her eyes.

I had the privilege of working with Barbara a few years ago. She was always in a good mood even though she was at work so early. She was very caring about her fellow co-workers and made coming to work at 3 in the morning bearable. Barbara is one of the few I miss working with at KBTX, and I am glad she is getting the praise she deserves!
