CS Pop Warner needs some help
9:19a, 11/20/09
The CS Pop Warner Raiders are one game away
from the National Tournament at Disney World in December. The costs are substantial: $850 per player.
Pop Warner is not a "Select" league, but rather an All Comers league. Many of the player s are on scholarships for their fees & equipment.

Think about helping them out.

If you are interested in sponsoring a player mail your check made out to CS Raiders Pop Warner to Attention: Kenneth Ray, CSPW at 3802 Westfield Dr, College Station, TX 77845.

Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate? You, the Brazos Valley, for always rallying together to support your youth!

We happened upon this group having a fund raiser last week at Hullabaloo's and it was a great group of kids, families and extended families and friends. I don't know how much money the were able to raise but if they play football with as much enthusiasm as those boys sang Karaoke, then they should go all the way to the super bowl! This community has always been very generous with our youth teams so I will join Stoney in promoting their cause.

I was surprised to learn this morning that Pop Warner has academic standards for the kids.
I was impressed.

Yes, they do Stoney. My son played a few years back, and the only individual awards they give are for grades. Several of the kids made "All American," and it was based solely on grades.

I have a very high regard for the Pop Warner organization.

The more I learn the more I like.

Do they need a chaperon to Disney World? I know someone who would be more than happy to oblige.

Nice try , Berg.
This is a Bare-Bones effort. Kids and coaches.
Parents pay their own way or stay home.

I'd send Mrs Berg if I could!
