I got a Facebook message today that the parents have pulled him out of school and that his condition is getting worse.

This is just horrible.

I clicked on the Caring Bridge link and was able to get through a page and a half before I got all choked up.

Definite thoughts and prayers for the family.

It's really hard to read some of that stuff. I can't imagine watching your child go through this. I'm very thankful that the boy's friends are coming to cheer him up.

Peyton passed away on Monday. If you read his journal do it in private. It will make you cry.

Rest in peace, little guy.

May the Lord comfort this family in their hour of sorrow. And may He watch over Peyton in Heaven. I cried at my desk as I read the final entry of the blog.

thoughts and prayers for this tough little guy and his family today. I can't imagine what they are going through, but it sounds like they are extremely strong in their faith and know that he is no longer suffering.

Heart-wrenching to read the comments about him "not wanting to die." He was one tough little dude, and I think we can all learn a lot from him and his battle.
